Please review the SA9 documentation which covers the upgrade process in
full.

What's New in SQL Anywhere Studio
Upgrading Software and Databases

The basic steps are do do a dbunload and reload into an ASA9 database
file. This can be done in a single step using DBUNLOAD command line or
from Sybase Central.

Partha,

You should be aware that you're upgrading to a version of SQL Anywhere that will be EOL on January
31, 2010.

http://www.sybase.com/detail?id=1061840

You might want to consider upgrading SQL Anywhere 11.0.1 as it is the latest version.
