i would like to be able to sort a drop down dw. I have enough data in the
drop that sorting would be helpful but not enough to go to a pop up search
window. I was thinking of the user being able to click on the header band of
the drop down dw and depending on what column hearder they clicked on sort
the data in that order, same as I do in the clicked event for a dw. What
event for the drop down would I use to do this, if possible? Thanks.

Hi Carol,

I don't this is possible because a dddw is a separate window that PB draws
under the field with the dddw attributes / properties. The host control,
which is dw, is not passed to that window and therefore the host control
does not receive any event in that window. For example the MouseMove,
ItemFocusChanged, ... It only triggers the host event itemChanged() once a
selection is completed.

The way I figure out is when I set the host field to use 3-D Lowered or any
border, but the dddw window is always drawn using the Box border.

Perhaps someone in the group have found a way to trap events in dddw so that
you can code the Sort the column when clicking on a column label.
