I have a dddw where some of the rows are displayed in grey, others white.
The white rows are the rows that meet a date criteria and are valid. I have
to show the grey rows for reference. When the user selects a grey row, I
have a message box, telling them they can't choose this option and I set the
action code to 2 and it puts the correct value back in the box. When you
reclick on the dddw, the grey row that failed is highlighted. How do I get
it back to the original row they started with?

Hope I didn't confuse anyone too much.

Thanks
Mike

I would try some voodoo first, like SetRedraw(TRUE) or SetColumn, just
because I'm lazy.
The brute force way would be GetChild, Find the current value in the
code_column, SetRow.
And as a GUI fanatic, I would also do a Beep(1) to announce the failure (or
PlaySound(uhoh.wav) ) and re-open the DDDW by simulating alt-downarrow.
