I was able to connect to a MySQL database but none of the
tables are showing in the explorer view. Any hints?
Thanks!

Hi, JTom:

Sybase WorkSpace can support Sybase database(ASE,SQL Anywhere, Sybase IQ). Other databases are supported by Eclipse DTP open source project.
Maybe you can get the latest DTP drop from Eclipse website.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, you will need to have a separate Eclipse installation :(

I’ve created feature request CR 565285 with Sybase:

Workspace’s DTP (data tools platform) should be updated with the DTP
current release from Eclipse. This will allow developers that work in a
mixed environment to use Workspace with non-Sybase DBMS’s (view stored
procedures, triggers, etc).
