We have the following situation:
We have upgraded our replicated databases from ASA 6 to
sqlany10, and reset the log file correctly and the databases
ran smoothly afterwards.
When we have tried to prepare the messages of the sqlany10
database, it started looking at the very first log file (old
one) inside the backup log file which holds all the log
files from asa 6 until the current logs.

We checked the sysremoteusers view and the log_sent is
carrying the offset of the very first log file in the backup
file since 2007. How can we force it to update this value to
be = to the values in the sysremoteusers record in the asa6
database?
i.e. We have the values in the sysremoteusers in asa6 we
want the sqlany10 to be udpated to carry the same values
after the migration.
Any other suggestion or solution, thanks.

You original choice of posting this to the replication
was the correct one. Continue to monitor that one
since you SQL Remote experts will be looking for
it there. Someone should get to that shortly.

If this is really urgent for you, you should probably
contact technical support and provide the V6 (safety
copy) of your original database so this can be researched
further at some depth.
