We have installed on both I-phone and Windows mobile
devices, but each time our contacts and calendar get wiped
out. Is there a setting to prevent this?

We need to start with a fresh Calendar, Contacts, etc. database for the
databases you would like Mobile Office to sync. If you would like Mobile
Office to leave the Contacts alone you could create a new admin template
that has contacts "disabled" and then register your users with that template
and the contacts wouldn't be touched. On the Windows Mobile Device there is
a trick if you still want Mobile Office to sync the data store but you want
it to take the existing items and sync them to the server vs. just deleting
them and start with a fresh copy from the Server.

Windows Mobile Merge Trick
- create a template that has the data store you want to merge from device to
server "disabled" (e.g. contacts)
- provision new user with this template
- after the device has completed its initial sync go to the client Mobile
Office Settings Application
- enable the disabled store from the device(e.g. contacts)
- you will be asked if you would like to merge or replace, choose to merge
and you will get them to the server

I assume the trick for Windows Mobile works for calendar
too?

How do you get the contacts and calendar on the I-phone afte
the initial sync? Do you re-enable?

Sorry, due to the fact that iPhone has no settings UI yet it isn't yet
possible and it would only work for Contacts anyways because we don't use
the native Inbox or Calendar application.
