Hi,

you could use the tool dbtran to convert the transaction log file from the
database. For example using: dbtran -c <connect string> -d -g <output-file>

I've create in a database a small table called tab1, inserted a row in
this table and later connected as user "qqq" to the database and updated
the row. The following had been logged, and been translated by dbtran into:
--CONNECT-1004-0000429375-qqq-2009-04-27 10:25
----BEGIN TRANSACTION-1004-0000429386
--BEGIN TRANSACTION
--UPDATE-1004-0000429387
--UPDATE DBA.tab1
-- SET col2='AAA'
-- WHERE col1=1
--COMMIT-1004-0000429398

In your case you would need to identify the UPDATE statement. The
number-hyphen-number string in the line of the BEGIN/COMMIT...
transaction or UPDATE... refers to the CONNECT... line.

BTW
Some more information about the CONNECTION... line is also explained in
the techdoc "How to Monitor Connection Attempts to Your Database in SQL
Anywhere 10" http://www.sybase.com/detail?id=1054826

Kind regards,

Dietrich
