Hi,

I would like to create a Database Filter in Manage Anywhere (v5, build
1380) to only sync active Tasks to the mobile device (PocketPC). In other
words, not to sync Completed Tasks to the mobile.

I am creating this filter in the Tasks action set.

There are 4 settings I need to choose to set this filter up:

Filter On: Mobile
Column: Completed
Condition: =

Then I get stuck on the value required in the last box. I have tried =
TRUE, but this does not work.

What value do I need to enter in this box to filter out completed tasks on
the device?

Thanks for your help

Hello Graham,

All information involving jobs is stored in the table "jobmaster". The column
"status" determines whether a package (job) is completed. A value of 0 (zero)
means that the status is "normal" (the package is pending, sending, or
received) and a status of 4 means that the status is "completed".

José,

I have confused things a bit here, I meant to say in MAIL ANYWHERE not
Manage Anywhere.

I am trying to create a filter in Mail Anywhere to only take down completed
tasks to the device.

Can you advise on this?

Thanks

Graham

Can we start at the top again?
What version of Mail Anywhere do you have?
What device are you syncing to?
What type of filter are you trying to define (mobile/server)?

Hi,

I would like to create a Database Filter in Mail Anywhere (v3.0.1.1791) to
only sync active (non-completed) Tasks to the mobile device (PocketPC - HP
iPAQ 5450's). In other words, not to sync Completed Tasks to the mobile.

I am creating this filter in the 'Tasks' action set.

There are 4 settings I need to choose to set this filter up:

Filter On: Mobile
Column: Completed
Condition: =

Then I get stuck on the value required in the last box. I have tried '=
TRUE', but this does not work.

What value do I need to enter in this box to filter out completed tasks on
the device?

Thanks for your help

I meant to also ask you if Notes or Exchange is being used. I'm going to go
out on a limb here and assume Notes (seeing your an IBMer).

The Completed field maps to the Notes CompletedDateTime field.
Default value: Null date or no date = "0" otherwise "1"

Hope this helps!
Rick
