Sorry if this error msg had already been discussed, but what does this error
mean?

"00:00000:00010:2001/04/21 13:18:20.51 kernel uppri: new priority value -1
is not within range"

I'm getting ton's of this errormsg & it's filling up my log. Anyone have an
idea?

I'm on ASE11.9.2 (no ebf), NT4.0 SP6a. Thanks in advance.

This is a known bug (CR# 141158) and should be resolved by applying the latest EBF. When
you run into problems you should always look at the EBF documentation to see if your
problem is addressed by it.

Hi,

I have search Sybase website for all available ebf for ASE 11.9.2 for NT4
but can't seem to locate all successive release since EBF8445 which we
currently have on our system. I was able to find the latest release for ASE
11.9.2 but no succession since EBF8445. I would really appreciate if
someone know where this information is being stored.

Can you skip the in between EBF and install the latest?

Since I am new to ASE, it would be very beneficial for me if I could locate
the in between EBF and read the documentation to see what bugs were fixed.

Thanks in advance,
Linh

the cover letter for the EBF will contain the baseline of fixes for the
entire rollup. If you follow the left hand column you will see the release
number change (decreasing) as you read down

2343 ASE was whatever, due to <>
{...}
1234 select into was something, fixed by ...

and so on

showing which EBF the problem was addressed in

Use EBF9518 which is a software release (SWR) for ASE versions 11.9.2,
11.9.2.1, 11.9.2.2, 11.9.2.3 and 11.9.2.4.
Reading the rollup cover letter before you start the upgrade is a very good
idea.
