I am using PB 11 Build 2713

How to get “DataWinodw Source in XML” manually please
follow below steps:

· Open any Datawindow
· Click on File Menu à “Save as File….”
· Now select Save as Type - DataWinodw Source in
XML(*.xml) and give name of the file name.

You will get xml file for DataWinodw Source. Please find
attachment “d_add_sales_order.xml” from PB Example.

I want to convert my all DataObjects/ DataWinodw Source in
to XML files, so I want to file

1. All the DataObject in my application
2. Want to get source of Datawinodw in to XML formate. Like
how I am getting with “Save as File..” option manually.

Saveas, Export, Template everything I tried they are not
giving correct result what I get after using “Save as
File” option.

Subject: Export DataWindow Source in XML

I just noticed that in PB9 from the DataWindow painter
if I do File->Save As File I have the option of saving the
DataWindow Source
in an XML format.

Does anyone know of a way to do this programatically
(Library Export just creates .srd files)?

Also, do any of the existing DW methods support creating a
datawindow from imported DW Source stored as XML?

The exported XML does not have a schema referenced, is the
DataWindow schema available? If not, any way to make this
happen?

Subject: Re: Export DataWindow Source in XML

He's looking at the SOURCE not at the actual data in the
datawindow.
Unfortunately, the answer is no, that XML syntax was part of
an
aborted feature some years ago. I'm not really sure why the
option is
in the IDE at this point, it really serves no real purpose
other than
to ask when the feature will be available <g>.

Personally, I've been pushing for XML representation of the
DW syntax
for a couple of years, along with schemas to provide for
backward
compatibility. With the DW appearing in different venues
like DW.NET
and Workspace, it needs to slough off its PB shackles (the
PBL) so
that it can be more nimble and less obtuse to the new
developer
markets Sybase hopes to get into."
