Hi all,

We are migrating to SQL Anywhere 11.0.1.2222 with M-Biz 7.0.

I have been told that with Ultralite 11 that the mlcrsa11.dll by default is
installed to the \Windows directory on the Window Mobile device. This is the
recommended location for this DLL.

How do I get M-Biz to download to anywhere other than the PODs directory?
How do I get the above file into the \Windows directory?

Thanks

Shao

"Recommended" since we know that \Windows will always be in the system
path. The DLL can actually go anywhere that is locatable via the PATH
variable.

M-Bus defaults to the PODs directory for all binary downloads that come
down via a channel sync. If the DLL file wasn't required for
connectivity to MobiLink, I'd suggest using MLFileTransfer to get the
file down instead. Writing a client-side POD to move the file to
\Windows afterwards, or including the PODs directory on the device's
system path should both workaround this issue, I believe.

Cheers,

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for that.

The pods directory I assume is not in the path.

It seems that whenever anything needs to be done with M-Biz, pods are the
answer! :)

Cheers,

Shao
