Re-installing M-Business Server (MBAnywhereW_6.2.254.exe)
and process hangs at "Optimizing Web app server". Looking at
TASKMANAGER on server, the process MVLICE.exe is consuming
CPU (but there is nothing else.) We then stopped any
potentially conflicting process (e.g. Anti-Virus) and re-ran
the installer but still no good.

We also 'killed' MVLICE.EXE from TaskManager and installer
started working but gave error about AGDB database (i.e. we
are migrating the existing installation database.) This is
on a Production system so is rather critical.

NOTE: We have had to re-install MBiz server as the
installation appeared to be corrupted - i.e. AGDB database
would not start, MBiz Sync service would not start BUT we
could manually start the AGDB database as a process and
connect to it.

Hi all,

This issue has now been resolved thanks to Mirco from Sybase Support.

Other software had been installed that was conflicting with the M-Biz
software.

Cheers,

Shao
