Hello,

Is it somehow possible in tabular or grid datawindow to merge cells
together (e.g. like in MS Excel)?

Thank you

Vojtech

Will a computed field or a computed column that concatenates the values of
multiple columns suffice?

I guess it'll be impossible to stretch its to length of 2 consecutive
columns in grid style presentation.

Move it to the foreground layer?

I agree.
I was asking if a calculated column/field would suffice for his purposes.
I didn't infer that it was desired to have the displayed width/height
conjoined.

If so, as Jerry suggested, perhaps the foreground layer usage will satisfy.

Hi, I think about a solution working in a special case: you can merge
only vertically cells containing the same value by using "suppress
repeating values" in rows menu at design time.
