PowerBuilder 10.2; Oracle 10
I need to add search criteria to the SQL for a related
nested report. The "master report" is easy. How do I
modify the "detail" SQL? I am trying with
Datawindow.Table.Select, but if it works, I am not
qualifying it correctly.

The Help topic "Syntax for nested objects in DataWindow property expressions
in PowerBuilder" may be useful.
You might also consider retrieval arguments in the nested DW - they can be
fed by columns in the master DW row.

With a nested report, I think the closest you'll get is the criteria
attribute,
or more simplistically (and less capable) the nested_arguments attribute.

You may also find the DWSyntax tool helpful.
- In the PB IDE, choose File>New from the menu
- Select the Tool tabpage
- Select the DataWindow Syntax tool
- From that window choose Syntax>Modify>Attributes
- Choose Report from the Object DDLB
- Click on Criteria and see both the Modify() and the dot notation syntax
variants
