I am considering integrating a web content management
platform, say DotNetNuke, with Appeon web application. I am
going to use user authentication function from DotNetNuke
and pass user ID to Appeon. So the Appeon server won’t be
called until user has been authenticated. I know I can use
AEM build-in security but it is not as powerful as of
DotNetNuke.

Second question: is it possible we can change index.htm to
index.aspx? The reason is that I am trying to add some codes
in this page to check something before displaying the Appeon
login page. In this way, I can prevent unauthorized user to
open the entry page. Only the authorized users (verified
from DotNetNuke login) can access the index.aspx page.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jason,

Yes, you can change index.htm to index.aspx, however you
need to keep EonDownloadCenter related content.
And you can also consider using the following solution to
achieve your requirements.
I. Use a web service to pass the user information.
II. Apply command line argument
You can refer to Appeon Help | Appeon Migration Guide |
Single sign-on to get more detail information.
