The iAnywhere DB works fine on WM devices, but wich dll
should I use in compact framework development in visual
studio? Using the iAnywhere.Data.SQLAnywhere throws an
exception.

What exception? What version of SQL Anywhere? What version of the CF?

My guess is that you have mismatched assemblies.
