I am trying out a new software package for my mobile devices
and part of the requirements is to run SQL Anywhere version
10.0.1. So I downloaded the SQL Anywhere Version 10
developers edition, so I can try out the new package to get
a proof of concept before purchase. The problem is, I have
to Deploy SQL Anywhere for Windows Mobile and that option is
not avaible to me in the developers edition. Is there
anyway I can find this? I really need this to complete my
test. Thanks

Did you download the Window Mobile developer's edition? During the
Windows Mobile edition install, you will be asked whether to install it
to the device. If you opted not to do so originally, you can go to the
%sqlany10%\CE\Install directory and run SETUP to do so.

Thanks for the reply. I do not have a set up. All I have
in that folder is cabwiz.ddf; cabwiz.exe and makecab.exe.

Thanks

Are you sure that you are using the Windows Mobile and not the desktop
version of the developer's edition?

What other files and directories exist in the CE folder?

As I previously indicated, you need to install the developer's edition
for Windows Mobile - you have the windows desktop version. Go back to
the developer's edition download site and select the Windows Mobile
download option.
