Powerbuilder 10.5.2

I would like to implement a PDF-like feature where the user can enter a page
number into a single line edit, press enter (or tab, or whatever), and the
datawindow goes to that page. Has anyone figured this out yet? How did you
accomplish it?

I came to this idea because we have some very large reports that are quite
slow when using the vertical scrollbar, I presume because of memory issues.
I thought giving the user the ability to jump to a page in the middle of the
report would be pretty helpful as an option.

Your solution probably involves a computed field with Page(), not
necessarily visible, Find(), and ScrollToRow.

It works! That was very simple. Thanks for pointing me in the right
direction. :) - Jason

You shouldn't even need the computed field...

But how would you do this if you have one enormous composite report,
with only one detail row spread over multiple pages?

Perhaps PageAbs() would be of more use when it comes to DW objects having
groups and ResetPageCount=yes
