Is there any problem with having multiple sessions (using multiple user
IDs or the same user ID) open at once, in separate browser windows or
tabs? Would they each get their own memory space, or would there be a
problem with variables getting overwritten?

Thanks,
Trevor

Hi Trevor,

Multi Appeon applications cannot run in a single
iexplore.exe
process. You can check the process from Windows Task
Manager, although you opened two IE browser, but only there
are one iexplore.exe process running. However whether the
Javascript href property creates a new IE process, this
determined by the browser itself, Appeon cannot really
control this. IE 8 can support this feature.

Regards,
Steven

Thanks, but that doesn't really answer my question. We have users that
have had multiple sessions running simultaneously, but there seem to be
problems when they do that. I'm guessing it's because either they don't
each get their own local set of resources, or the web server doesn't
realize they're not the same session, or both. I was just looking for
confirmation of my guesses, or an explanation of what actually happens
and whether it's recommended to do that.

Thanks,
Trevor

We've actually had it working, albeit with unpredictable results.
However, I believe my question has been answered, that it is not
recommended, due to the reasons I suspected.

Thanks,
Trevor
