Using PB9 and PFC.
When I select a user-name in a DDDW, it needs to retrieve
the full user-record into an edit DW, but it always
retrieves the first user-record.
See attached file for details.

How about posting the details in the message, rather than as an attached
Office document that many are forbidden from opening. To shortcircuit this
process, there is an assumed uniqueness to the items listed in the dropdown.
If you have multiple items using the same text, the row corresponding to a
selection of any of these duplicated values is "undefined". If this is your
situation, there have been many discussions and solutions in the past and
you should be able to find them using a quick search. In short, your list
of values must be unique.

The items in the dddw are unique - no duplicates, so this is
not the problem I am having.
The reason I used an attached file was to provide snapshops
of the two related DWs. I thought that I would not be able
to add those visuals into the this type of documentation.

Using attachement will limit who can respond - that's your choice. People
are more likely to respond if you describe the problem in the post. If you
are using the PFC linkage service (?), that is simply PB code so you can
attempt to debug the problem on your own. You might want to examine the
PFC demo app (PEAT) to see how it uses the linkage service.

Some mail programs do allow you to paste an image into a message.
(PrintScreen key puts a screen shot in the clipboard as a bmp)
Have you tried the PFC newsgroup?
