Hi,
is it possible to open the same web app on multiple
windows/tabs?
I can only use several times the same app if I deploy it to
different URLs (e.g. http://..../app1, app2, app3), but if I
open a new internet explorer window/tab and open an URL
already active, I get an empty page. See attachment.
Cheers,
M.

Hi,
anybody out there who cares about the apparent impossibility
to run the same app on several browser sessions?
It is an issue easy to verify and can turn out to be a
serious limitation for some customer who got used to run
several sessions of the same program.
Cheers,
M.

P.S.
My impression or this newsgroup is less "active" than in the
past?

In your case, I wonder if it's a limitation of the developer version
(which you appear to be using in the screenshot you attached).

In my case, we are actually having problems that are apparently due to
people having multiple sessions open. I still haven't had my question
answered from 10/13 about whether each session gets its own resources
within the browser, and it appears that they are actually conflicting
with each other.

So, what you're trying to do may not be such a good idea. :)

Hi Trevor,
thanks for answering.
So you mean you are able to run multiple sessions but they
somehow interfere each other? Which are the symptoms?
Best,
M.

We have had strange behavior when multiple sessions are run
simultaneously, which we're guessing might be related to global
variables we use in our application (if they don't get their own
resources locally), or possibly the web server doesn't realize they are
not all the same session.
