Why would the sql for a datawindow be altered by PB when deployed?

PB is not deploying all my datawindows correctly. Randomly I will get a
datawindow syntax error on deployment. I printed off the syntax for the
datawindow and saw that when it is deployed PB removes all quotes from the
syntax except in the WHERE clause of the sql statement. This datawindow was
created in the datawindow painter on PB 11.1 Build 8123.

Here is the sql syntax the datawindow has after its deployed and it does NOT
work:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
SELECT matched_video.id , matched_video.clip_directory1,
matched_video.clip_directory2 , matched_video.clip_directory3,
matched_video.clip_directory4
FROM matched_video
WHERE ( "matched_video"."game_date" = :game_date )

Here is the sql syntax the datawinow has in PB:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SELECT "matched_video"."id", "matched_video"."clip_directory1",
"matched_video"."clip_directory2", "matched_video"."clip_directory3",
"matched_video"."clip_directory4"
FROM "matched_video"
WHERE ( "matched_video"."game_date" = :game_date )

Is this sql generated from a graphical query? If so the generation of
sql depends on the configuration of your database connection.

If it was the database connection wouldn't this happen to all datawindows
and not just one of 12?

That depends. Maybe just the one is based on a graphical query
while the other have SQL syntax queries. The SQL syntax queries
are never changed by PB so if there are double quotes they are
used independent of connection settings. For graphical queries
the SQL syntax is generated on runtime and influenced by the
settings of the connection.

I created this datawindow the same way I created all the other datawindows.

I apologize, I don't think my responses have been very helpfull.

To make sure I answer the questions correctly, what do you mean by
"generated from a graphical query"?

From the menu of the sql painter;
(Design -> Convert to [Graphics / Syntax])

Or if you edit the syntax of the dw;

retrieve="SELECT col from ..."
vs
retrieve="PBSELECT (....)"

No. None of these scenarios apply. Even worse I think it just happened
