We've encounter a problem when we are performing an insert
trigger.

When the insert trigger was fired, we will get a bunch of
records of that table (including the newly added record) and
calculate the sum of some values. However, we found that the
calculated value does not include the newly added record
occasionally.

Our server is running on ASE 15.0.3 ESD#2 Solaris and our
client is using ODBC 15. Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance,
GC

While you may have run into a bug, it's also possible that there's a logic flaw in your trigger ... hard to tell with
what's been posted so far.

You'll need to open a case with Sybase TechSupport, or provide more details in your posts (basically the same info that
TechSupport would ask for).

- trigger code?

- conditions when you are noticing wrong calculated values?

- how you determine the calculated values are wrong?

- a reproducible example that shows the mis-calculations?

You are right. There is a problem on the trigger code.

Thanks & Regards,
GC
