We have developed a client-server app. using Powerbuilder
(PB) talking to Sybase ASE 12.5 server using Native driver
(not via ODBC). Our sybase server is in U.S & we want to
give access to a user in India. I went thru the checklist of
the files that needs to be on the user's PC to connect to
the sybase server using the PB exe. I was able to get all
the DLLS required from a PB perspective.
How can i get the list of Sybase client DLLs required for
our user to talk to the sybase server in U.S? Does somebody
has to install the ASE client manually on his machine or can
I just package a set of DLLs in a folder & send him so that
he has to just copy the files in his PC & run the EXE?

The pcclient cd with the ASE distribution should have the client
components needed. Install that. I would not try to just install the
dlls as you need locales, and other files as well.
