sysprocesses : ipaddr field ; When this is blank?
Why sybase did not mention anything about this in the system
table document listing all columns and description?

Is there a limit on ASE 12.5.x how many procedures can be
created in a database(max object limitation) dbcc
serverlimits doesnt show anything about objects or
procedures?

Documented in the 15.0 manuals.

http://infocenter.sybase.com/help/index.jsp?topic=/com.sybase.help.ase_15.0.tables/html/tables/tables50.htm

Probably something impractical like 2,147,516,416 or some such number that
you'll never reach.

Sybase *did* mention this -- it was in fact documented when ASE 12.5 was
released. See the "What's new" manual, section for 12.5:

humm desc of ipaddr exists in the so called "system table"
doc.

I guess the poster wants to know the conditions when the
ipaddr field would have a blank value and why sybase did not
add this information(i.e when the ipaddr field could be
blank) to the document... or maybe one has to read the "row
level access" part of document to figure this out!

I was looking at the sp_client_addr text but it dosent help
either...
