Note: You can get control on the DDDW's "drop" action. Not sure if that
applies to your situation though.

However, if it is a nested child DW - there is no way to do that at the
moment. :-(

FWIW: What I do in that case is where I need low level control over the
child DWO is to run it in a separate DataStore until I get the result set
that I want. Then I update the same DWO in the parent DW with the values
from the DataStore version (using GetChild .method or DOT notation).

Today, you just need to use the "pbm_dwdropdown" event mapping.

Hi, Chris

Is "pbm_dwNdropdown" event the place where dddw events like "dddw-clicked",
"dddw-RowFocusChanged", "dddw-RightMouseButttonDown", "dddw-Left Button Up",
dddw-Retrieve End", "dddw-MouseMove" happen?
...Or just when the dropdown opens up?

Regards,
Ivaylo

Where is starts to drop. There, you can check the validity of the DDDW's
buffers before hand, retrieve or refresh a result set, set DDDW properties,
etc.

Do you know if these pbm_command parameter values still make sense in
PB11.x?

Thanks! :-)

It could be that or pbm_syscommand as well. I would have to experiment a
bit.

It would be nice to know what the original post was trying to address
functionality wise.
