Hi all,

Anyone know why this error would occur on the M-Business Server?

[23 November 2009 10:40:14 GMT] (90 seconds)
ERROR: Connection timed out.(504) -
http://localhost:8091/device/index.do;jsessionid=A844E50DE074739
ERROR: Connection timed out.(504) - http://localhost:8091/device/index.do
Web Content: OK
Databases: OK

[23 November 2009 10:36:30 GMT] (209 seconds)
ERROR: Connection timed out.(504) - http://localhost:8091/device/index.do
ERROR: Connection timed out.(504) -
http://localhost:8091/device/index.do;jsessionid=A844E50DE074739
Web Content: OK
Databases: OK

When a full sync is performed (large sync) then at some point it times out.

But there does not appear to be any bottlenecks anywhere. This didn't use
to be a problem.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Shao

We've run the Windows M-Biz client on the server and the problem still
persists, so this eliminates certain infrastructure.

Hi Shao,

I believe this error is referring to a problem with the connection from
the M-Business server to the source web site. An HTTP 504 is a Gateway
timeout, meaning that the request we made to a proxy (e.g. the
M-Business server in this case) is failing upstream.

I believe the text you copied is from the M-Business servers' Admin
console output - what does sync_access.log / sync_error.log show around
this same time period?

Regards,
