Hi all,

Could you help me with the following error:
Error 5082: The offset and/or length for the binary data request is not
valid.

We replicating records to two other servers, in order to feed several
websites.
This has been working fine for a year now, all of a sudden this error
appears.

We haven't changed a thing to all the servers or structure of the databases.

I can't find anything on this error.

Thanks
Dirk Verleyen

Hello Dirk,
Internally replication stores record data in binary fields in the replication
queue, so I would guess that the error occurred when attempting to read that
record data out for a replication update. The only situation I know of that
can cause that is if you alter a table's structure while replication updates
are currently in the queue. If you post your error log or at least the ADS
version, ADS_Source, and Src_Line values from the error we might be able
to tell you more about it.
