Hi

I'm using the following commands to start the server and the
service....

dbsrv8.exe -c 50m c:\mtrs8\mtrs8.db

dbsvc -as -w mtrs8 dbsrv8 -c 50m c:\mtrs8\mtrs8.db

The service seems to start fine, but when i go to
service.msc, I dont see a service with the name "mtrs8". I
need to see it in order to stop the service, so i can delete
the .log file. Any idea why i cant see the service?

Thanks Alot
Aron
