using pb 10.5 / pb 11.5

Hello,
I have a datawindow with a large amount of columns (a kind of selfmade bar
chart).

Everything works great and fast up to 1000 columns.

This I think is a limitation of Powerbuilder. I can't append a column in
either source mode (says incorrect syntax at line xxx) nor in design mode.

Is there any chance to workaround this limit?

Is SyntaxfromSQL a possible solution?
