Hello,
First of all the correct product is ASE Enterprise Edition
for Sparc 64 bits. I have just installed ASE EE 15.0.3 ESD
#2 on a Sun Sparc 64 bits with Sun 10 on a UFS filesystem
with FORCEDIRECTIO. After installation we have changed all
the devices from dsync true to directio true. However we
were not able to do it for the master device as it's not
supported.

Now the question is if we can have the master device with
dsync true on a filesystem mounted for directio (UFS with
FORCEDIRECTIO). If we have to change it to a regular
filesystem (without FORCEDIRECTIO) or to rawdevice, what's
is the best approach, using disk mirror and unmirror?
Thanks, Pedro Santos
