I recently published an article in the ISUG Technical Journal
and capturing and decoding missing statistics in ASE 15.0.3 ESD#1.

The page about User-Defined Functions has been reworked to
distinguish SQL UDFs more clearly from Java UDFs.
Also, there's now a downloadable file with a collection of
SQL UDFs that may be useful for ASE users or DBAs:

Some Sybase news:
In case you hadn't noticed: ASE version 15.5 was released
mid-December 2009. The main new feature in ASE 15.5 is the
ability to run an ASE database fully in-memory to deliver
better performance.
There hasn't been publicity about ASE 15.5 yet, but this will
come soon (I'm on the hook to deliver some webcasts, for example).
The product documentation is online however, and you can download the
