Hello everyone,

Does anyone use a product other than Impact to handle ftp?
We have a mixture of shell scripts and acq/del aims to do
ftp, but I was wondering if there is a product that would
run on AIX that would take care of scheduling and
configuration for the myriad of files we have to transfer.

Thanks!

Hi Kitty;

Are you talking about FTP'ing the configuration, mod,and prj
files or is this for HL7 messages or flat files to other
endpoints?

I am referring to messages and flat files that we
send/receive to/from external sources, as well as within our
internal network.

We used "Ipswitch's WS_FTP" for secure file transfer,
including PGP and scheduling/synchronizing files/folders.
We used the desktop (professional) version on Windows XP
Professional, not the server version, and I'm not sure they
have an AIX hosted version.

Hope that helps?
