Hi,

We successfully installed a mobileoffice client on N97 mini
but when we go to the messaging menu of the device, there
were multiple mobileoffice inboxes. Depending on the
downloaded email on the device, that's the same number of
inboxes listed.

N97 mini is supported right?

Thanks!

Hi,

the Nokia N97 is supported. Make sure you use the right MobileOffice
version (5.7.2009.0914 and higher). If you updated the server check that
the ClientAutoUpdate feature is enabled.

You can check the tested device list here:

Cheers,
Dirk

Hi,

The MobileOffice version that we are using is 5.7.2009.1206,
I've enabled the client autoupgrade and tried to send an
upgrade to the N97 device (via console).

Thanks,
chan

Hi Chan,

hmm, can you check the client version on the N97 as well? Or take a look
in the Admin. It should also show the version there.

If the client is up to date, maybe the users are using an additional
sync software like Exchange Push or some kind of local sync software or
some addon software on the device.

Is the N97 a branded device (Vodafone, Orange etc?)

Hi Dirk,

The client that we installed on the N97 is found in the
\Bin\Clients\OneBridge\ folder then we performed a client
auto upgrade. The version shown in the console is
5.7.2009.1124 (for the N97).

I believe the device has no other sync software. I'll double
check on this. And no other email accounts installed/setup
(nokia etc..) on the device.

Nope, not a branded device.
Did I miss something out?

Thanks,
Chan

Huw posted this to your cross post in the Trial newsgroup.
I think his hint about the firmware might be interesting.

Hi, what version of Mobile Office are you using? There was
an issue with multiple mail boxes on 5th edition devices
before we added full suport for them. You should be ok if
you are using version 5.7.
Also what ROM version is on the N97 mini?

Thanks
Huw

Hi Chan,

thanks for that information. I guess Huw meant to check if your phone
has the most recent firmware. As your iMO client version does look up to
date, the firmware is my last idea.

If the firmware is not terribly old, please put this to our support team
with all the data collected in this thread. They can investigate further.

Cheers,
Dirk
