Hi Tom,

right now I expect it too early to tell if the iPad will be used as a
business device. I think Apple is not positioning it as one, but then,
they also did not do this with the iPhone.

So we will have to wait and see if business customers pick up this
device heavily or not. If you see your users doing this, let us know.

Cheers,
Dirk

Does iAnywhere run on iPads?
Actually the question of Tom hasn't been answered.

I would assume iAnywhere - like all (or most?) iPhone Apps -
are able to run on iPads, too, however not utilizing the
large screen efficiently.
Is this also trkue for iAnywhere?

Anyway, hopefully an iPad version is available soon because
for me the iPad is the ultimate business tool.

Let's hope your wait-and-see doesn't take too long!

Cheers, Bernt

Hi Bernt,

yes, I understand our MobileOffice iPhone client also works on the iPad.
But I am unaware of any announced plans to adjust the client to the iPad
screen.

If you find important business need in your company for this feature,
please contact one of our partner or our sales team. They can help you
to communicate this to our product management.

Cheers,
Dirk

Hi Dirk

Thanks for your advice which I gladly follow.

I was hoping that you as sybase consultant are able to
communicate the needs of your customers more efficiently
within your organization as you know which buttons to hit...
could you forward my feedback internally to the right
decision makers?

With this two way approach we might be more successful after
all...

Kind regards, Bernt

We are readly wish the iAnyWhere iPad version could be
carried out soon. ^_^. There is so many iPad (2 Million were
saled in last two months), and there is so many Lotus Notes
users.

Before, we use iPhone for email, but when you have a iPad,
the office Email is totally different!

Hi guys,

thanks for your interest in getting the iMO client beefed up for the iPAD.

As a Sybase consultant I naturally do communicate my impressions and the
customer feedback into our organisation. Where as my view is mostly
technical.

To further press the point and the business need, our sales organisation
needs to get the word as well. This is why I often ask in the newsgroup
to please check with out sales team and talk to them as well if you need
some kind of new feature badly.

Cheers,
Dirk
