hi,

If an organization has active directory that holds all users
and passwords, can that be integrated into mobile office or
imported somehow?
Say an organization has hundredes of users, what is the best
way to define them all?

Thank you

Hi Yehuda,

theoretically you could register a group of AD users (bulk registration)
in MobileOffice. In the iMO Admin you should be able to search for an AD
group name and then register all members of this group.

We also offer some cool MobileOffice addon services. :-)

1. A user self service/registration portal. User authenticate against AD
on a special web site and then can register them self for MobileOffice.
The addon will trigger the SMS for deployment.

2. An autoregistration module. The module monitors a user repository (I
think this could also be AD) and then registers iMO users or removes
them automatically if they are removed from the repository.

If you are interested in the above, let me know. We will have to take it
offline then.

You have a some what more work intensive option. Check the iMO \DOCS\
folder for a Web-Service API PDF file. It tells you how to enable the
iMO web service API and how to install a quick and dirty sample. Take a
look, maybe you can leverage it for your organisation.

Cheers,
Dirk
