Hi,
I have found a problem with the DS if I try to enter from a completely
different branch of net.

Server ADS: IP 192.168.10.x
Client1: IP 192.168.10.y J:\ads_data\xxxxxxx.adds
(net use J: \\server\database)
Client2: IP 10.55.122.z J:\ads_data\xxxxxxx.adds
(net use J: \\server\database)

The Client1 perfectly works it opens and it manages the database with a
connection type "Remote", the Client2 doesn't succeed in connecting
themselves to the database in "Remote" (Error 6420) but only in access
"LOCAL".

Am I mistaking something?

Disabled Firewall, protocol TCP/IP on the VLAN opened completely.

Windows XP sp2/3 on every PC.

Thank's Bruno Rinaldi

I believe the problem is that discovery is not routeable (not sure if
that is the correct term....)

Setup an ADS.ini that specifies the IP and port of the server so a
direct connection can be made and discovery is bypassed.
