AIX 64 bit

Hi,

I need to install openclient only on a AIX server so SAS can
access the DB's. I have been looking at the install manual
but there is nothing specific to openclient except pc based
install? any idea where I get info on this?

thx,
rick_806

If you have your ASE running on AIX, The installation of the openclient only would just be a matter using the ASE distribution
software and doing a custom installation with only CT-lib & DB-lib chosen.

If your ASE is running a platform other than AIX, you may have a need for a separate license. Talk to Sybase.

Try the EBFs download page @ sybase.com. Under the 'Products' section click on 'Software Developer Kit', scroll down to
the AIX section, and click on the version of SDK that you want.
