Hi,

One of our customers runs ADS v8 (100 users) on a Linux machine.
The database is replicated to a second ADS v8 (50 users) server.
The last few years, replication works fine. But some weeks ago we have to
add 3 tables to the database.
After addings these tables we run in trouble during creation of the
PUBLICATION.
We get a 7022 error and our datadictionary (.add) was corrupt.
The only way to solve the problems was to delete the three new tables and
restore the datadictionary from the backup.

We try to pack all the tables in the database, but we are still not able to
add the three tables to the database en activate replication.

How can we solve this problem?

Thanks in advance,
Dirk-Willem Huisman

Hello,

If I understand correctly, it sounds like the 7022 error is occurring in the
data dictionary itself. Early versions of the data dictionary index files
were created with a smaller index page size, which could lead to this
problem. If you close the dictionary, delete the .ai (index file), then
open the dictionary again (connect to it), Advantage will rebuild the .ai
file. This will use the larger index page size and also rebalance the index
trees. You should then be able to add the new tables.
