Hi,

We are getting an error for a windows mobile 6.1 device that
was working previously.

The error that we got from the log:

Event Type: ERROR
Object Name: monet:SettingsExchange.dll:SettingsExchange
Method Name: GetDeviceSettings
Error Message:

monet:SettingsExchange.dll:SettingsExchange:GetDeviceSettings
Error Detail: Device does not have permission to execute
this server
object/method with Mobile Objects.
Source: moObjectBroker.cpp 242.

We just moved from a different server/machine.

Thanks,
chan

Hi Chan,

a server move is some major change. :-)

Let's get some more information so we can nail it down better:

- What iMO version are you using?
- How many users are affected?
- Are only WM devices affected?
- If only a single user is affected, what happens if he uses a different
device type?
- How was the move done exactly?
- What message does the user get on his device?
- What exchange version
- What CDO.DLL version
- Did the move also include an update to new CDO? Or a change in the
Exchange system?

Cheers,
Dirk
