We have some iPhones (w/OS 4) that have a little gold lock
showing up in the corner of the iAnywhere app main page.

I have attached a picture.

Is there a way to remove this lock? The user has to enter in
the passcode each time they enter the app.

We use Lotus Notes 7 - is this a Lotus Notes issue?

Thank you,
Melodie

Hi Melodie,

this can be configured on the server side.
Please take a look in the MobileOffice Admin. Open one of the affected
users. There you will find the security settings for the MobileOffice
client.

Once you are comfortable with the security configuration, I recommend
you create a dedicated iPhone template in the Admin. There you can
define the pre-sets that new devices will be deployed with.

Be aware that once you remove the need for the iMO client PIN entry, a
potential attacker/finder of a device has easy play getting at the PIM
data of the user.

Cheers,
Dirk
