Hi,

We have some 20 iPhones en iPOD Touch devices in our
company. They all sync with Lotus Notes through Mobile
Office and it's works fine.

But ... sometimes iAnywhere doesn't shows nothing (empty
data) and it makes no connection to the MO-Office server
(other devices are working fine, so the server isn't the
problem). In the admin tool the device still has the status
OFFLINE. All other connections (eg internet) works fine on
the device.

The only way to solve the problem is reinstall MobileOffice.

Is there a solution for this problem? I had the problem
twice and with these devices:

- iPod Touch 8GB with iOS 4.0.1 or 4.0.2
- iPhone 3GS 16 GB with iOS 4.0.1 or 4.0.2

iAnywhere version -> 5.7.2010.0714
Server version -> 5.7.2009.0914

Greetz,

Berry

Did you try the trick of entering a bogus port into the
configuration page, saving the change, and then entering the
correct port and saving the change, after the first
reinstall?

We had one user on an iphone 4 that required 2 installs and
the port change. There is something strange about that
iphone 4 device. We had to reset the device once already,
and then to get iAnywhere working, we had to do an install,
remove, install and then the port thing, in that order, to
get it to work the second time too.

Hi guys,

with the newest iPhone client, the port change should no longer be
necessary.

The issue you describe is not related to the port or iOS4 I think. If
this happens a lot to you please check with our support team to have
them qualify the issue.

Cheers,
