Is there any way to make a filter so only insert and delete are replicated?
I have fields in tables that is just used for calculating, so all
calculating are replicated which slow down the replication.
ADS 9.1
Thanks,
Kim

you can select just a couple of columns and leave the calculated ones.

Hi Joachim,

I don't want the record to replicate when it's an update.
The field is always empty when it is an insert, but it could be empty or not
when it is a delete, and there is no way I can make a filter in the
publication based on Insert, Update and Delete as far as I know.
I was thinking of if it was possible to make a trigger that would remove it
from the replication if it was an update, or something like that, but as
soon it is inserted in the replication table it's gone.

Kim,
is it a one-way replication? If so, you could put a staging database in
between. Send all modifications to replicate to the staging database
and set up replication just for that one.

(DB1 -> triggers -> DB2) -> replication -> DB3

Thanks Joachim,

It's a two way replication, but I can do the same in both end and just copy
the one table to the staging database.

Thanks again.
