M-Biz 7.x

Hi all,

When performing a sync through the M-Biz client, it will automatically
connect to the internet if not already connected using the default internet
connection profile.

Are there methods which can be invoked such as:
isInternetConnected()
connectToInternet()
connectToInternetIfNotAlreadyConnected()

to establish an internet connection in advance if not already connected?

Thanks.

Shao

Not through the JavaScript interface, no.

Establishing an Internet connection has to happen using the OS-supplied
(native) functions via a .DLL (CellCore.dll). You might be able to wrap
this functionality in a POD and then LoadLibrary() the .DLL from the POD...

See:

Cheers,

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for that.

I was hoping to find an easy way within JavaScript to connect to the
internet rather than write a pod because Mobilink can't establish an
internet connection correctly even if a network name is supplied.

Cheers,

Shao
