Hello All, I am currently starting a device and associated M
Business client /server upgrade. The upgrade to to Windows
Mobile 6.5 and M Business client 7.0. I have a problem in
the new M Business client with spaces being automaticaly
added after zeros, this occurs in the application data and
authentication fields. Does anyone know how to resolve ?
Thanks Martin

Hi Martin,

Could you check whether its spaces being put after zeros or whether its the
fact that auto-complete causes an additional space after a character/word is
selected from the drop down of predictive text as you type.

Cheers,

Shao

Hi Shao,

Thanks for the reply. It is definitely a space and only
after zeros, autocomplete is switched off. Video of the
problem attached - not very high quality but I think you can
make out what is going on, I can send you a higher qulity
one direct if that is useful

Thanks

Martin

Hi Martin,

Can you provide an HTML snippet illustrating the problematic issue?
Have you tried in it on the Win32 M-Business client to see if there's
any difference in behaviour?

Specifically:

1) Is there any JavaScript acting on the field?
2) What kind of input field is it?

Also, which specific version of the 7.0 client are you using?

Regards,

Hi Martin,

Also, I notice from your video that the keyboard popup seems to be a
customised one (e.g. one like it was from either HTC or Acer where they
customise the user interface).

1) Could you supply the make and model of the device and also confirm the
version of the operating system (e.g. Windows Mobile 6.5.3).
2) Are you also able to confirm the exact version of the M-Biz client (e.g.
MBEntPPCEN_7_0_187.17721.exe).
3) Are you able to confirm with the same client on a different device
whether the same problem exists?

Cheers,

Shao

Hi Martin,

You say that your device is a HTC Touch Pro 2 device. It's this one right?
http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_touch_pro2-2690.php

And you're using MBEntPPCEN_7_0_187.17721.exe.
That's a Smartphone Client right? E.g.
(Image enclosed)

I thought that you'd have to run the Pocket PC Client (option above
Smartphone Client) on the HTC Touch Pro 2? (I.e. one that begins
MBEntPPCEN_).

Cheers,

Shao
