Hi,

We have just upgraded our Oracle database from 9i to 11G.

Do I need to redeploy the applications with Database Type
10g/11g and update the database type in the Transaction
Object to Oracle 10g/11g?

Do I need to replace ojdbc14.jar as well in
\EAServer\lib\ext to ojdbc5.jar?

Is there anything else that needs to be considered?

We are using Appeon version 6.2.0079. Appreciate any
feedback. Thanks!

Hi Mmalubay,

Yes, you need change the Oracle jdbc driver and redeploy the
applications with Database Type 10g/11g and update the
database type in the Transaction Object to Oracle 10g/11g.
If you have used the Dynamic transaction object to
connection cache mapping solution, you need to modify the
SQLCA.DBMS parameter to the 'ORA'.

Regards,
Steven
