Hi folks,
say I have my HTML form that asks for username+password and
I want to pass on to PB/Appeon the 2 values (hidden of

A GET request like

would allow to retrieve the parameters "usr=aaa&pwd=bbb" via
the commandline argument in the application open event.

Unfortunately usr+pwd are visible, thus not applicable.

Any chance to get a POST request to work (which would hide
the two fields)?
The following code fails

<form action="http://appeonserver/http_post" method="POST"
<input type="hidden" name="user" value="USERNAME">
<input type="hidden" name="pwd" value="123">
<input type="submit"value="Open application (POST)">

and produces the error:

HTTP Error 405.0 - Method Not Allowed
The page you are looking for cannot be displayed because an
invalid method (HTTP verb) is being used.

Hi Marco,

Yes, you can make a function to encrypt and decrypt the
commandline argument.
Or using the web service to pass the username & password.
