Hi,
the appeon debugger does not work correctly!
I can select application to debug (from appeon toolbar),
open debugger window interfaces, set breakpoints and run it.
But the debugger does not stop at breakpoint set before.
My configuration is:
-appeon developer 6.5 (server Jboss 5.1.0.GA)
-microsoft script debugger + IE8
-I'm try to test a sample application with only one window
deployed with Debug JS/PS option and Generate Object Flag
for Appeon Debugger checked
-on my pc there is also visual studio 2008 installed

any idea?
thank's in advance
caspi

Hi,
Did you uncheck the IE option "Disable script debugging?"

Hi Caspi,

Please use the solution below to work around this issue.
The IE 8 you are using has a new feature that a new IE tab
page starts two iexplore.exe progresses. While, Appeon
Debugger captured the progress which cannot provide the
event of the Web application. That's why Appeon Debugger
can't enable the Web application to stop at the break point.
We are researching on how to fix this issue in our product.
But right now we can provide a solution for you to work
around this issue by changing the registration table as
below:
Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Main\
Add one DWORD value:TabProcGrowth = 0 which functions by
deleting one iexplore.exe progress from the two.

Regards,
Steven

thanks Steven,
with your suggestion, the issue is resolved.
A new problem arose on the size of the js file.
All functions not included in form or uo are grouped into a
single application object.
This easily exceeds the 500kb size object and the debugger
can not handle it.
I'll try to group the functions in some uo in order to
reduce the size of each object. Do you have any other
suggestions?

best regards
caspi
