Hi

appears sybsystemdb growth varies from server to server
where MDA is switched on.

Is there a method to identify what causes the difference? Is
there an optimum size to set for this database

Thanks

There used to be a bug in early 15.0 versions whereby sybsystemdb filled
up as a result of selecting from MDA tables.
This was fixed in ASE 15.0.1.

Other than that, it doesn't ring a bell...

sybsystemdb can have transaction log growth due to 2-phase commit
transactions (inter-server transactions). That might apply to MDA tables if
you involve a remote database with collecting MDA stats, and use
transactions to do so.
