Hello,

We have to upgrade Sybase ASE server 12.5.2 from Sun Solaris to HP AIX. But
we only found there is only Sybase ASE Server 12.5.4 is available for HP
AIX. So we have to study the different between 2 versions. Where can I
have a infomration about this ? Thanks!

John

HP-AIX sounds odd. You probably mean: "HP-UX" (HP Unix) or: "AIX" (IBM AIX).

Anyway, you should check out th "what's new" documentation, which you
can find here:
- new features for 12.5.3: http://tinyurl.com/3jnb4mc
- new features for 12.5.4: http://tinyurl.com/444j96g

Yes, it should be IBM AIX.
Thanks! It is very useful. Other than new features, is there any bug fix ?

A better source for information on the bug fixes
actually committed to the various rollups will be the
coverletter that comes with the EBF from the download
site.

http://www.sybase.com

Then choose : SUPPORT -> EBFs/Maintenance
Click on Adaptive Server Enterprise
Choose to display 'in all months' otherwise it won't show 12.5.4 versions
anymore.
Then locate your platform and the recent 12.5.4 EBF.
It seems to be EBF 16787.
